Today, In
morning grade 1 hasn’t class because teacher nichelou will go to MTAP event /
mathematics contest, and I going with her.
South city
central school send their pupils to joining this event from grade 1 – grade 5,
and grade 3 be the winner of this event. The location of MTAP events is Carmen
National High School.
Many students here, from elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school, 2 week before today, mam nichelou after she teaching in grade 1 at 12.00 a.m, she must to teaching 3 student to laerning mathematic only because she is a tutor to grade 1, she is good teacher, she always be patient to teach, and has good strategy to teach, so never bored with her.
We going to Carmen National High school at 09.00 by jeepney and motorola, today is very hot, and we using umbrella, when we arrive, there is already Mr.Celso L.Pagulon, our principal school, he already come from 08.00 a.m and became participate also.
The MTAP Contest start from 09.30, first there is formal ceremony, and there is dancing session from the student of carmen national high school, there is singing session, all of them singing "Philippines national song", and it's very nice to listen.
after finish the formal ceremony, directly The Principal of Carmen National High School open this event formally, everyone clap the hands. after that, every contestants come to the room and became the group consist of 3 students, after that all of them answer the questions in paper, and also oral test.
one of students from mam nichelou is crying because she is nervous and has tooth ache, this session is 1 hour, so mam nichelou monitor from the outside because the rule is no one may entrance the room except the officer.
almost 1 hour I and mam nichelou waiting, the students already finish to answer and they come out from the class, mam nichelou come over them and ask, how about your feeling ? and are you can asnwer well ? but one of them is crying, because she only answer 5 question of 50 questions. so no hope to win.
but mam nichelou always give them motivation, and also give money 50 peso, I think she is really good teacher,she never angry with them, because she know everybody is already effort, but let's god make the decision.
but we're still happy because, the students from grade 3 is win, so south city central school get the trophy. after that, we come back to south city central school.
