NEW RULES THAT I MUST DO

January, 24th 2018

I wake up at 06.00 a.m, I take a bath, take a breakfast with rice and sausage. after that I looking for jeepney, but I can't take everything jeepney, because my goal place is Xavier University, so I must looking for the jeepney with "xavier school" in front of mirror of jeepney.

after I arrive at Xavier University, I must waiting motorola, because it's the rule, I must take one transportation again to go to south city central school. when I arrive at south city central school, I directly entrance the office, and we met Mr.Parklan, he is the staff of south city central school, he tell me about the rules in south city central school.

1. if we arrive at south city central school, we must login or punch in at attendance tool using our fingers, after that we write our time when we arrive in this school at attendance book.
2. operation school time from 07.00 a.m, so the teacher and the staff must come before 07.00 a.m, and we can't go out before 02.00 p.m. 

after that, I doing log in and write the time in attendance book, I directly go to grade 1 class, I met mam nichelou (teacher grade 1), I asking about the education system in philippines, the salary to teacher, the total of pupils/class, the facilities in south city central school. and here the conclusion :

1. Philippines using K-12 Curriculum, it's mean that k = kindergarten, 12 = 6 years elementary school, 4 years junior high school, 2 years senior high school.
2. The teachers salary is different based the level, the higher level will get higher salary from government.
3. the total of pupils in south city central is quite big, in grade 1 - grade 6, per class is 40-50 pupils. so the teacher must have more energy to teaching them.
4. the facilities in south city central is : toilet inside the class, the fan inside the class, trash inside the class, the chair, the table, the book, the media/props, the projector, the hall, the canteen, the industrial fun, the sound system, the computer laboratory,the television, the dvd player, the chalkboard.

VISITING SOUTH CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL IN PHILIPPINES.

January, 23rd 2018.

in the morning, my phone is ringing, oh mam jovi call me, she told me that today we will go to South City Central School, our practice teaching school, so I directly take a bath, take a breakfast with rice and sausage, and go out from my dormitory.

YEAH, we riding by jeepney again, lots of dust disrupts the breathing, so I always close my face with mask, when we arrive at Xavier University, we met with mam jovi and mam junefel, we're going to south city central school by motorola (general transportation) in philippines, we only pay 5 peso /people.

here the picture of motorola, actually in Indonesia we have like that, but the name is bajaj. I will show both of them,

what do you think ? isn't similar ? 

okay, finally we're arrive at south city central school at 08.00 a.m, we waiting on the office,

students are doing the ceremony, when the principal is coming, all of us coming to his rooms,

mam jovi and mam junefel tell to Mr. Celso L Pagulon (the principal) about our programme (SEA-Teacher), and mam jovi ask to give allow me and my friend to practice teaching here until February,17th 2018, and Mr.celso very welcome to us, and he's grateful because his school is first time to accepts students exchange from Indonesia. 

after finish talking, Mr. Celso invite me to introduce my self in front of the teachers, the pupils, in the ceremony, wow, I'm nervous, but I'm very happy, they're very kind to me.

after that, Mr.Celso deliver me to grade 1 class, because I will teaching grade 1 pupils, when I'm coming to the class, the students directly hug me and we're take a photo. so amazing day.

RIDING JEEPNEY IN PHILIPPINES.

January, 22nd 2018

I wake up at 06.00 a.m, after that I take a bath, mam jovi is coming to our rooms and invite us to go to Xavier University, we’re riding jeepney, the general transportation in Philippines, actually this transportation is very unique because in jeepney has a lot colourful, artistic, and the passenger must paid when they’re stay inside, but I don’t really like about the driver because he always driving very fast and always accept passenger to come although already full, so we was jostle. Mam jovi tell to us, when we will pay to the driver, we must said”2 sp”, its mean that 2 students, so we only pay 7 peso, if we’re not tell like that, we must pay 10 peso. The currency about 1 peso is Rp.265.

After we arrive at Xavier University, mam jovi invite us to come to education faculty office, the staff of education faculty, the president of xavier university, the dean of xavier university, the student college of xavier university, and we entrance the library,the office,the canteen.

After that, we’re talking to student college of xavier university, they’re very kind to us, they asking about our university, our country, our system education, our programme (exchange student), our major, our city, etc.

After that, at 04.00 p.m mam jovi deliver us until in front of jeepney’s discharge, and we come back to our manresa alone.

When we go down from jeepney, we directly go to SM Mall Uptown,and we buy rice and sausage. Because mam jovi borrow rice cooker to us so we can cooking in our room.

 

FIRST SUNDAY IN PHILIPPINES

January, 21st 2018

This Morning I wake up at 6 a.m, after that I'm take a bath, and tidy up my clothes, my suitcase, my food. after that, mam jovi is coming, she give us bread, rice, chicken to our breakfast, mam jovi very care about us, and also give me card (globe) to contact her.

after we're breakfast, mam jovi invite us to walking to the Mall, the name is SM Mall Uptown, and the location is very near because in front of our dormitory, so we can walking on foot. we buy fruits, we change our money from Indonesia (Rupiah) to Philippines (Peso /Php). after finish,we came back to our dormitory.

BISMILLAH, WISH ME LUCK .

January, 19th 2018, The day I go far from my family, very far because different island, country.

My family delivering me to Aiport, exactly in Radin Intan Airport, Lampung. we rent a car to deliver us because we don't have car.

My schedule is :

• From Lampung (Radin Intan Airport)  to Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta Airport)
• From Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta Airport) to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) only transit.
• From Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) to Philippines (Ninoy Aquino Airport)
• From Philippines (Ninoy Aquino Airport) to Cagayan De Oro (Laguindingan Airport)

and when I'm arrive at Ninoy Aquino Airport, I met with my coordinator from xavier university, she is Mam Katlen and Mam Mia. I'm very happy because we're talking together and I met with my friends from UHAMKA.

When I arrive in Laguindingan airport, actually I want to waiting my friend, but the officers of airport told me "sorry mam do you know two girl outside ? haahaaa I'm not using my glasses and I told I don't know. But when I remember again, maybe two girl outside is xavier university staff, Oh my god, I running outside, and correct, they are mam jovi and mam bang (xavier university staff), and they're very kind and good to me. Oh I'm so shy, Sorry mam.

They give me water and food to waiting my friend from jakarta, I'm to tired and I slept until I don't realize rainy is coming. and my friend is coming. After that we looking for taxi, and we get taxi, in the way mam jovi buy burger and coca-cola from us, but I feel so dizzy because the driver very fast, and when we arrive in our dormitory (Manresa) I’m vomit. Hehe I’m shy with mam jovi.

But I'm so happy because they're very good and very kind to me. they inivite us to dinner. and here the documentation about our dormitory, the name of our dormitory is Manresa.
