SUBJECTS FOR GRADE 1 STUDENTS

I always write on my book about the subjects that mam nichelou teach every day. so I make a conclusion from January 31st 2018- February 2nd 2018.

January, 31st 2018

Teacher nich teaching about clock, position of clock, clock have 2 hands (short and long), pupils make a group and given clock toys to every group, mam nichelou ask them to put the short and long hand of clock based the instruction, example : show the correct hand about 1.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 2.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 3.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 4.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 5.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 6.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 7.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 8.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 9.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 10.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 11.00 o'clock ?, show the correct hand about 12.00 o'clock ? and the student will arrange the clock hand based the instructions. and mam nichelou will walking around to see them, if they're correct, mam nichelou will say "yes correct, very good".

in the end of lesson, teacher nich ask : why we important learning about clock, and pupils answer : we learning about clock to not be late, to know how to read the time ? after that mam nichelou say "yes, you're smart", after that she tell to students, we must learning about time and it's so important, because we can arrange our schedule,what time we eat, what time we goes to school, what time we play, what time we sleep, so if we can't read the time, we can't arrange everything, and our life is messy.

February, 1st 2018

Teacher nich give materials about clock again, how minutes in 1 days, how hour in 1 days, how we count hours and minutes.and she use clock toys again.and practice method like yesterday which the student make a group, after that mam nichelou mention a time and the student pointed a hand of clock based the instructions.

February, 2nd 2018

on friday, mam nichelou always give summative test, and the question about material 2 week before, so mam nichelou want to evaluating the students, are they understand about the material that she teach to them ? or shall repeat the materials ?
