THE DIFFERENT ABOUT GRADUATION SYSTEMS

February, 3rd 2018.

On saturday, my coordinator from xavier university invite me to entrance her class in education major. when I'm coming, mam katlen (my coordinator) introducing me in front of their students, I'm so happy but I felt nervous hehe. after that mam katlen tell to them that I'm as student exchange from Indonesia, and I will be here less than 1 month. and they're very happy to hear it. after that, I sit with them, and talking with them.

actually, schedule for today is final exams, so the students will graduate if they can pass this final exams. and mam katlen give the 100 questions, and time to answer is 60 minutes. the students only circle the correct answer,  and mam katlen will discuss the answer after they're finish. but mam katlen also give me the 100 questions same like them, so I felt like student college of xavier university now, hehe.

during filling answer, I talking with the students beside me, I ask about the graduation systems in xavier university, what should they pass to graduate, what the exams that they should to pass as requirements to graduate, so she tell me : in education there is a research subject and research paper requirement. so they take a research subjects, and after that they must make research paper in group, the group consist of minimum 3 people,and they will presentating their research in research conference.

but In Indonesia, to graduate we must take a research subject and writting research paper  in individual, not in group,  and we willpresentating the research in research conference also.

so the different is : if in Philippines the students make research paper in group, but if in Indonesia the students make research paper in individual.
