I'M A TEACHER NOW

February, 5th 2018.

okay, today is third day I'm stay in Philippines and its time to practice teaching in south city central school specially grade 1. last night, I already prepare the lesson plan, the subjects english, and the topic is "counting how many syllables in each word". so I use props like flashcard, and my teaching method is live experiment. here the description :

first, I ask with them, how are you ? after that, are you ready to studying ? if you're ready, let clapping your hand together. (they're following my instructions). after that I tell to them, today we will learning english. and I show to them "flashcard", and I ask to them to read together, lets go student ! read this word shout loudly. yeahh they're very excited and read the flashcard together. 

after finish, I ask to them, what is syllables ? and how many syllables on "green" word ? they're not understand, after that I give the example to them, okay students, to counting or to know how many syllables you can clapping your hand. okay example : green, clapping based your pronunciation, only 1 clapping, after that "chalkboard", clapping your hand based your pronunciation only 2 clapping, after that "eraser", clapping your hand based your pronunciation only 1 clapping, after that "complete", let clapping your hand based your pronunciation only 2 clapping, so they're understand, and we try together or live experiment with flashcard. I show the flashcard and they guess how many syllables in this flashcard ?

after that, I make the student to be group, consist of 4 person, and I give 5 flashcard/ group, I give 2 minutes to them counting the syllables, after they're finish, they can presentation to their friends, and their friend may give critics or suggestions. after all of them already presentations, I writting 5 questions on chalk board, and they can answer in english book. 

the instructions : look at these word, and counting how many syllables in these word, write beside it.

2. done = .........
3. everything = .........
4. flag = ..........
5. holiday = ..........
